Cloud Architecture Consultant
Must be able to acquire “Secret” security clearance
Position Description:
- Directs and participates in high-level Technical enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, and solution development
- Apply Cloud Architecture expertise and Enterprise Architecture expertise to design, integrate, optimize and manage customer implementation within Azure, AWS or Google clouds
- Prepares and presents status briefings to the client’s senior executives on approach and courses of action
- Participate in development of business process, strategic, systems and data models
- Develops a deep understanding of business objectives and strategies and ensures architectural vision is fully aligned with those objectives and strategies
- Applies analytical expertise to guide business leaders in optimizing their processes and streamlining their portfolio of information systems
- Advises executives on enterprise strategy, governance, solution implementation and compliance
- Facilitates work-group across stakeholder organizations to identify and define requirements, assess business processes and solution designs and evaluate technology solutions for customers
- Possess deep understanding of IT Security principal, Networking and infrastructure architecture to support clients in achieving clean cloud IT Operational Audits
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or other related scientific or technical discipline is prefered
- Minimum of 10 years Information Technology experience with Enterprise systems installation and administration
- Certified Azure or AWS Solution Architect prefered
- At least 10 years of experience in business process analysis/management, enterprise architecture development, systems portfolio management, enterprise solution implementations, operations analysis, enterprise governance and/or strategic planning and a background in management consulting
- The ability to communicate politely, clearly and effectively and persuade and/or influence internal customers at a high level such as senior management on matters of a technical issues
- Must possess excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment with minimal guidance
- Ability to relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication and presentation skills
- SAP BASIS/HANA administration and technical core competencies for tasks including installations and upgrades, problem determination and resolution, software patching, support package application, performance tuning, and project sizing
- Proven track record using analytical skills to evaluate system performance, system health checks, and implementation of tuning improvements
